About Us

Jonathan & Co Interiors was created to bring St Petersburg and surrounding communities a curated retail showroom featuring an ever changing array of antiques and fine home furnishings to include accessories, original art, lighting and custom fabrications for windows and decor.

Jonathan & Co Interiors has located the new shop in the growing MLK Business District corridor of the Crescent Heights neighborhood.

Jeanne Dunn and Gail Lawrence, long time design professional in Savannah, GA, partnered to create their showroom here in St Petersburg, FL.

Our unique perspective for a dialogue mixing traditional and contemporary furnishings and drawing upon experience with classic as well as new design ideas gives the client a fresh approach to the decorating of their home.

Paint and decorating color consultations

The client is presented with color boards for choices to fit their existing decor palette or for working thru new construction or renovation. A color scheme is presented for both large and small projects. The flow of color throughout a house is an important factor for solidifying the overall decor of any project.
The colors can have a variety of hue and tone…or be neutral…or strong and dramatic…the final outcome is always based on the visual desires of the client. Never fear color…Color brings joy, serenity, passion and happiness. The base of any well decorated house is color that pleases your particular visual concept.

Furniture layouts and space planning

Furniture selections are drawn from our vast list of “To The Trade” furniture manufacturers for both upholstery and hard goods. The companies we work with feature fine traditional tailoring and state of the art manufacturing techniques. We look to companies that are forward thinking for sustainability. We do not specify “throw away” furniture.
Our focus is always lasting quality and repurposing of important heirloom furniture and accessories and pieces of excellent construction “hardwood”.

Furniture specification and procurement

One feature that Jeanne and I most especially enjoy and find that the client gets “instant gratification”
is searching the marketplace for the unique item that calls attention to making a room looked lived in, personal and comfortable to the eye. It’s important to not have a room look decorated only that the room reflects the family within.

Home Concierge Service

Whether downsizing or upsizing, we offer the homeowner our organizational skills for a smooth transition before or after moving. We organize cabinets, closets, bookshelves and pantries. We hang artwork and mirrors. Upon completion of the organization aspects, we style and stage the finished home areas.
